Use within the range that does not exceed the maximum operating peripheral speed indicated on the grinding wheel.
[(Rule) Article 119, (Structural Rule) Articles 8-9]
[(Rule) Article 119, (Structural Rule) Articles 8-9]
Grinding wheel diameter (mm) x π (3.14) x rotation speed (rpm) | ≦Maximum operating peripheral speed (m/sec) |
60000 (1,000 × 60) |
For small (diameter less than 75 mm) grinding wheels for which the maximum peripheral speed is not displayed, except for ring type, cup type, or magnesia method grinding wheels, the vitrified method is generally 33 m/sec or less, and the grinding wheel. Use the one at 50m/sec or less. Use a resinoid reinforcing grinding wheels for cutting at 80 m / sec or less.
Precautions when installing a new grinding wheel
Test run of grinding wheel
When a new grinding wheel is replaced, the person who installed it (specially educated person) should perform a test run (idle) for at least 3 minutes.
Also, test run for at least 1 minute before starting work for the day.
