About polishing

"Polishing" means removing scratches on the surface of the material and polishing it.

Surface treatments are often performed to protect the surface of the material and increase its aesthetic and functional value.

Polishing and grinding with abrasives is one of them.
If the polishing process is omitted, poor adhesion, uneven coloring, and reduced aesthetic value may occur.
Therefore, "polishing" can be said to be an important process in terms of quality.

Type of polishing

Let's see what kind of polishing is available.

Buffing

It is a technique to polish the material by applying various abrasives around the polishing wheel made of cloth or other flexible material and rotating it.
Since it can be polished even if there is a slight step on the polished surface, it is used for polishing at the final finishing stage of the workpiece and for making a base for plating. In addition, buffing can be applied to any metal.

Mirror polishing

After buffing, mirror polishing is performed.
The surface can be kept glossy by mirror polishing.

Wet blast

Unlike shot blasting, in which particles called projection materials collide with a work (workpiece) to process the work, water, air, and ultra-small media are applied to rust and dirt to perform surface treatment.
It has made it possible to apply surface treatment to uneven parts that could not be polished in the past, and surface treatment has been realized in a very wide range of fields.

Wet polishing

Polishing technology applied to products that require more luster than wet blasting.
Also called bright polishing, it can obtain extremely high brightness and a more beautiful luster than wet blasting.
